FATEHGARH SAHIB: A labourer was died while his colleague was seriously injured when seven labourers were taking out bricks from a well at village Hawara Kalan of district Fatehgarh Sahib.

As per reports, seven labourers were taking out sand and bricks from a well of a farmer Tehal Singh when suddenly sand and bricks fell on two labourers.

The villagers immediately informed the officials of district administration and Fatehgarh Sahib ADC, Khamano SDM, SHO reached on spot and started rescue operations.

After efforts of around 3 hours, Gagandeep Singh and Rana of village Chuharmajra were taken out of the well in serious condition with the help of JCB machine.

They were immediately rushed to Civil Hospital, Khamano, where Gagandeep Singh succumbed to his injuries while Rana was still getting treatment.
