PATIALA: Sajjan Singh Sethi Memorial Shooting Championship (Indian Masters 2008) to be held here from 25th to 30th March 2008.
While addressing a news conference, Gurbir Singh Sandhu, President of the Punjab Rifle Shooting Association, said the championship is being held, under the aegis of the National Rifle Association of India and the Punjab Rifle Shooting Association, at the New Moti Bagh Gun Club (NMBGC) Patiala Shooting Range. Regarding NMBGC Sandhu said that the NMBGC shooting range commissioned in 2007 is designed by Serena of Italy and caters to all disciplines of shotgun, namely Trap, Skeet and Double Trap. It conforms to International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) and the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) specified standards and is authorized to be used by the competent State Authorities. It is affiliated to the Punjab Rifle Shooting Association and NRAI. On view during the championship will be top shooters of the country. Prominent amongst them being: *Manavjit S Sandhu* - *World champion in Trap shooting , Col Rajya Vardhan Rathore*- won India's first individual silver medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics , Mansher Singh*- Asian Games Silver Medalist at Busan 2002. *Participants for Masters 2008*
