Punjab police traced missing Son of NRI from Bombay Print E-mail

AMRITSAR: Amritsar police has traced out the missing son of NRI family from Bombay here Friday.

 

Police said that Prabh Sharan Singh NRI from America now resident of Ranjit Avenue Amritsar lodged a complaint to police Thursday night, about his missing son Gurshehbaz Singh aged about 14 years.

His father told the police that his son had also taken Rs.2000/- cash from the house.

On receiving information of a missing child police immediately swung into action and the friends of missing child Gurshehbaz Singh were contacted.

One of his friends disclosed that he received a phone call of Gurshehbaz Singh from Bombay. After that location from where the call was made from Bombay was traced with the help of Mumbai Police.

Immediately police party headed by a DSP rank officer was dispatched to Mumbai by Air and in the mean time DCP of the concerned area in Mumbai was also informed and was requested to provide possible help to the Police Party of Amritsar City.

Friday in Mumbai with the help of Mumbai Police Gurshehbaz Singh has been traced and is being brought back to Amritsar.

It has been found that the child Gurshehbaz Singh himself went to Mumbai with his own wish, said police.
