"Love Making Scenes are not to titillate audience" – Arjun Rampal

It was a brave on Arjun Rampal's part to sign a movie like HEROINE, which was predominately a female oriented script. But, Arjun did manage to make his presence felt essaying the role of a struggling actor opposite Kareena Kapoor. Though, Kareena hogged all the limelight, Arjun didn't make a fuss about it and kept himself focussed on his other projects. Now, he seems really excited with his next release, Prakash Jha's CHAKRAVYUH, where he will be seen donning the role of an IPS officer. The promos have already got a very positive response and there is certainly a buzz about the movie.

Director Prakash Jha who is know for his hard-hitting subjects, will be seen dealing with a complexed subject on Naxalities. Though, the film deals with a serious subject,  the movie has been pitched as a entertainer. According to Prakash, " A film doesn't need to give a sermon. CHAKRAVYUH tells the issue of Naxals the way it is, it doesn't look for a solution to the problem". Beyond the backdrop of the Naxals, the film is an entertaining action drama which deals with friendship, complexities of a husband and wife relationship, trust and betrayal. 

Arjun also believes that Prakash is excellent when it comes to tackling realistic subjects with entertainment quotient, and that he has shown in the past with movies like Rajneeti and Gangajaal.

When asked whether his love making scenes with his co-star Esha are part of the entertainment quotient, Arjun replied that " Well, it is just a moment between a husband  and a wife and nothing more should be drawn out of it, " he adds, Esha, who plays his wife and a cop in the movie, understands the dilemma that my character is going through. Love making only brings a humane side of the story, it isn't there for the purpose of titillating audience."

Well, come October 24, 2012, we would know the significance for sure !
