Senior officers of DIPR & Punjab Public Relations Officers Association condole demise of elder brother of IPRO Kamaljeet Paul

CHANDIGARH: The senior officers of Information and Public Relations Department and Punjab Public Relation Officers Association have expressed profound shock and grief over the demise of Mr. Mangat Rai Paul who passed away due to heart attack. He was 45 and was serving as Head Constable in the Punjab Police. His cremation was held today at Jalandhar. He is survived by his parents, wife, son and 3 brothers. One of his younger brothers Mr. Kamaljeet Paul is serving as IPRO with the Information and Public Relations Department, Punjab.

The Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department, Punjab, Mr. Gurkirat Kirpal Singh, Director Mrs. Anindita Mitra, Chairperson of the association and Additional Director Dr. Senu Duggal and President of the association Mr. Navdeep Singh Gill while condoling the demise of Mr. Mangat Rai Paul have prayed to the almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss.

During the cremation, a contingent of the Punjab Police presented last salute to him. The funeral pyre was lit by the deceased’s son-Navin Paul. The DPRO Jalandhar Mr. Manvinder Singh shared the grief of the family on behalf of the department as well as the association.
