With Aamir Khan’s much-awaited TALAASH nearing release, the actor was in all praise for both his leading ladies, Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor. He said that both of them are amongst the best in the country and he had a fabulous time working with them.
“It’s always been great working with Rani. She’s a very instinctive and talented actor. The same applies to Kareena. They are two of the finest actors in the country. Honestly, it’s a great joy to work with them,” says he.
When asked about why isn’t TALAASH promoted in a big way like his other movies, Aamir replied - “It’s certainly by choice. A lot of thought and effort has gone into how to promote the film. It’s a suspense drama, and if we aggressively promote it, the impact may be hampered.
I have always emphasized quality over quantity and I will continue doing so even if the movie doesn’t have a buzz. We know what we are doing.”
Going by this track record and the marketing genius he is, we are confident that the subtleness in the promotion of TALAASH will surely work for Aamir again.
