NANGAL: World Camera Day was celebrated at Madhuban Park Nangal today. An NGO 'Jagriti Sanstha' organised an exhibition of the photographs of birds on the occasion.
A painting competition on the topic of ‘Nature’ and ‘Environment’ was also organised on the occasion,in which students of various school took part.
Urvashi Narotara of St. Soldier School bagged first prize in the competition while Pranavi Sharma and Yukti Sharma bagged second and third prize respectively.
Chief guest Dr. Sanjeev Gautam and social worker Rakesh Nayyar informed the children about the invention of camera and its utility in the daily life.
Jagriti Sanstha director Parbhat Bhatti, Rakesh Sharma Pinki, Ashok Manocha, K.K. Sood, Sonia Saini, Kuldeep Singh, Shashi Pal Singh, Phulwant Manocha, Master Nanak Singh were also present on the occasion.
