Dena Bank distributes scholarsips to Aryans students

MOHALI: Nupur Mitra, Chairman and Managing Director, Dena Bank, today distributed scholarship to some Aryans students on merit cum means basis. Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges presided the function.

The scholarhsip ranging between Rs 50,000-1 lakh per course has been in given in different couses including MBA, B.TECH, BBA, BCA etc.

CS Meena, Regional Manager, Dena Bank; Balbir Singh, AGM, Dena Bank; OP Jarora, AGM, Dena Bank; Baljeet Singh, Senior Manager, Dena Bank; BS Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group; and AP Jain, Director, Aryans Group were also present at the occasion.

Nupur Mitra while distributing the scholarship cheques encouraged and motivated students to apply their mind only towards studies and leave their financial problems to the Dena Bank. In the process they would be able to get good results and bring name to their parents, institution and bank.

On this occasion she announced that Dena bank will very soon be giving study loans to meritorious students selected at IIM/IIT at base rate of interest. It may be noted that base rate of interest is the minimum possible rate as per the banking procedure.

Welcoming Nupur Mitra, Dr. Anshu Kataria thanked her for sparing her valuable time by interacting with students of Aryans Group and handing over personally the scholarship cheques to some of the students.
