Cairo, Oct 3 (IANS) India salutes the "Gandhian spirt" of Tahrir Square revolutionaries with a poster making contest themed "Did you sense the spirit of Gandhi in Tahrir SquareIJ" This is being organised here by the Indian embassy to mark the 143rd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
Indian Ambassador Navdeep Suri and Egyptian artist Mohamed Abla Tuesday jointly garlanded Gandhi's bust at the Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture here. Artists and journalists attended the function.
