CHANDIGARH: Babbar Khalsa International Deputy Chief Jagtar Singh Hawara condemning the arrest of Akali Dal Panch Pardhani leaders Kulbir Singh Barapind and Daljit Singh Bittu lashed out at Shiromani Akali Dal government for their arrests.
Hawara, currently lodged in jail for the assassination of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh, through his counsel said Punjab police is falsely implicating the two leaders due to political reasons.
He said the two leaders have resorted to non-violent ways to protest against the atrocities with the Sikhs in Punjab, even then the Akali government has registered false cases of terrorism because of their involvement in the past with the Khalistan movement.
