PANCHKULA: The Ms Photogenic, Body Beautiful and Catwalk rounds of the “IFA Zone Face of the Year 2012” took place at Hotel Bella Vista here today. The swimming pool side area was filled with joy and enthusiasm, when around 30 glamorous finalists did catwalk to showcase their talent. Among the judges were Rahul Gandhi (MD, Hotel La Fusion), Mr Jaskeerat Singh Nagra (VP, Hotel Bella Vista), Prithvideep Singh (AVP, Hotel Bella Vista) and Rakesh Jolly (Former Cricketer).
The results of the mega event, being organized by SMC-BIZZ in association with IFA Zone, a leading clothing brand, will be declared at the grand finale to be held at the Indradhanush Auditorium, Panchkula on 12 December. Actress Zeenat Aman and Pantaloon Femina Ms. India 2012 Vanya Mishra will attend the grand finale as judges.
Sunil Bansal, Director & Founder, Face of The Year Awards said, “This year we received over 250 entries, went through various rounds of selections. Finally we have shortlisted 32 lucky contestants from all over the country, who will be competing for the title of 'IFA Zone Face of the Year 2012’. Ms Best Eyes and Ms Best Smile rounds will take place at Thunderzone Mohali on 9 December. Best Costume, Perfect 10, Best Talent and Personality rounds will be held at Hotel La Fusion, Sector 11, Panchkula on 10 December. The Presentations Round for the Best Skin and the Best Eyes will be held at Cleopatra Spa & Salon, Sector 8, Chandigarh on 11 December. IFA Zone and SMC Bizz will also be doing a charity of Rs 1,11,111 for an NGO on the day of the grand finale.'
Dr. K.K Khandelwal IAS Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Haryana, and Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretary, Information, Public Relations & Cultural Affairs Department, Government of Haryana will be the Guest of Honour at the grand finale.
