India declares first innings against England at 512/8

AHMEDABAD: India declared their first innings at 521 for eight in the final session of the second day in their first cricket Test against England here on Friday.

Cheteshwar Pujara remained unconquered on 206 while Pragyan Ojha was yet to open his account when the declaration came.

Brief Scores:

India 1st Innings: 521 for 8 in 160 overs (Virender Sehwag 117, Cheteshwar Pujara 206 not out, Yuvraj Singh 74; Graeme Swann 5/144).
