Is John & Abhishek in Tamil Hit "Vettai" remake?

Monday, November, 19 2012 - 12:11

By Raj Dutta
It seems like the Hindi remake of the Tamil Hit Vettai will finally see daylight. UTV suffered a blockade as far as Vettai is concerned and the film was put on hold indefinitely.  Earlier, the project took a blow when Shahid Kapoor pulled out of it.  It was also rumored that R Madhavan and Ali Zafar were said to be casted for the Hindi remake. As things didn't feel in place then, now the buzz is that the production house is all set to roll the project next year with the successful pair of Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham in the lead.  After the success of Dostana, John and Abhishek has been seen as a formidable and bankable pair on screen.

While the producers were unavailable for comments and the fate of its remake undecided, we sincerely hope the Tamil hit Vettai gets a Hindi remake.
