It’s said that when the time is wrong, nothing falls in place. This is exactly what is happening with director-producer Kunal Kohli. His last film, TERI MERI KAHANI with Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor didn’t fair too well at the box-office.
To add to his woes, when Kunal decided to produce a low budget movie with Ayushmann Khurana, things go too well with the actor and Kunal. Ayushmann refused to work with him. After that, for his next directorial venture, which is supposed be a period drama, he approached Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan & Aamir Khan, but to his dismay, there were no takers.
Firstly, the fact that his most recent TERI MERI KAHANI didn’t do too well at the box office probably doesn’t help matters at all. But, it seems that the issues are also somewhat personal. While Aamir Khan is just plain busy, word has it that Shah Rukh is not going to work with Kunal anyway, because Kunal had apparently bitched him out once. Saif, on the other hand, had allegedly had a bad time working with the director (Hum Tum, Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic), and therefore is also avoiding working with him again.
Now, it would be interestingly to see who comes forward and rescue Kunal from this mess !!
