SAD-BJP workers on their toes to welcome ‘Rin Utaar Yatan Yatra’

ROPAR: Akali Dal and BJP workers are on their toes to welcome the ‘Rin Utaar Yatan Yatra’ being organised by Sri Brahmin Sabha from Maiserkhana(Bathinda) to Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib,Delhi on November 22 and 23.

The Yatra to  be led by Sri Brahmin Sabha ,Punjab president Devi Dayal Prashar,is being organised to pay remember the sacrifice mad by Guru Teg Bahadur for protecting the religious freedom of  Hindus in Mughal India.

The Yatra would stay at night in Anandpur Sahib and a light and sound Programme ‘Hind Di Chadar’ would be organised in the night.

The Yatra would be flagged off by Punjab Deputy Chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal at Maiserkhana in the morning of November 22 and would reach Anandpur Sahib in the evening on the same day.

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal would flag off  the Yatra from Guru Ki Haveli(Gurdwara Bhora Sahib)Anandpur Sahib on November 23 for Gurdwara Rakab Ganj.

Meanwhile, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and BJP have started preparations for the welcome of  Yatra in Ropar district.A meeting of Akali Dal ,BJP workers and other religious organisations was organised at Gurdwara Bhatta Sahib,which was presided over by Rupnanagar MLA Dr.Daljit Singh Cheema.

It was decided to accord a rousing welcome to the Yatra at various places in Ropar district.
