Surbhi Mahila club donates Rs 25,000 to Red Cross Society

ROPAR: Surbhi Mahila Milan Club of National Fertilizers Limited, Nangal donated  Rs.25,000 to the District Red Cross Society Ropar.

Members of the club led by Kavita Aggarwal and Sonai Khanna presented a cheque of the donated amount to the Deputy Commissioner Ropar Pradeep Kumar Aggarwal here today.

It may be mentioned that Surbhi Mahila Milan organizes a Diwali Mela every year and proceeds of the Mela are used for undertaking welfare activities in the surrounding areas and for the help of poor andneedy people.
