Corona Virus positive UK returned Gurdev Kaur admitted to Civil Hospital Phase 6

MOHALI: The District Administration is taking all steps to combat the corona virus disease and also advises the general public to not panic and instead exercise precautions. These views were expressed here today by the Deputy Commissioner Mr. Girish Dayalan while chairing a meeting regarding steps to combat corona virus disease.

Divulging more, the Deputy Commissioner said that a case has come to light in which a woman named Gurdev Kaur, Age 69 years,  resident of #540, Phase 3A, Mohali, with travel history to UK showed mild symptoms of cough and was afterwards found positive for corona virus disease. She has been admitted to the Civil Hospital, Phase 6, athough she resisted treatment and is still resisting and created a huge ruckus.

The DC further added that the District Administration is contemplating booking the said lady u/s 269, 270,188 of the IPC for an act to spread infectious diseases dangerous for others lives.

He further said that the lady would be kept under observation and would be monitored on all health parameters by the Health Department team. Also, the health parameters of all those including her relatives would also be closely watched as part of the measures to prevent the disease from spreading and nobody would be allowed to play with the lives of other people.
