Chandigarh Police booked immigration agency owner for fraud of Rs.5 lakh

CHANDIGARH: The Chandigarh Police has registered owner of Vision International Agency, an immigration company for duping a Kharar resident and his freinds of Rs.5 lakh on the pretex of sending them abroad on work permit.

The Police has registered case in sector 36 police station against Heera Lal owner of the immigrationa gency located in Sector 35 here. Heera Lal is resident to Zierakpur. The complainant Deepak Kumar said that he had apperoached the agency in 2015. Heera Lal itriduced himself as Visa consultant who is expert in arranging work Visas. He claimed he ahd over 25 work visas of Qatar and Oman and also told him to bring his friends who are interested to go broad.

Heera Lal reportedly demanded Rs.50,000 from each of 15 persons for medical examination. Deepak paid him Rs.50,000 in his office and he later demanded another Rs.30,000 which he also paid. Deepak claimed that he and his friends paid Rs.5 lakhs to Heera Lal till September 2017. On September 22 when Deepak went to Heera Lal's office in Sector 35, he found the office locked. Even embassies of Oman and Qatar denied that any work visa is applied with them. The police is investigating the case and looking for Heera Lal.
