##img_1##Why always women play second fiddle? Why even in this 21st century women are regarded as inferior race? The answer to this question can be answered in many ways but the only fact is-yes women are still regarded as inferior to men.
Even in this fast world women walk one step behind men. Women always need some men to protect themselves in the society, whether the woman is a doctor or an engineer. In our Indian society, parents start worrying about their daughter’s marriage just after they crossed 20.
##ad_1##The parents think their daughters need an eligible husband to guide or protect. We can also see the conditions of many widows who live a miserable life due to all this so call lack of protection from their husband. Woman without a man is always looked down and having a man is made a must thing in our society. Are we going to blame the current society for this or just the continuation? We are conditioned in our mind that we are inferior and we need protection and help from men.
Women in all age passes from one hand to another, while at home under father’s or brother’s protection and after marriage under husband’s or sons. How well educated the family is but these are the un-ignorable facts. Subordinate, inferior, secondary..these are the words always associated with women.
In our society today some women are in pity conditions, faced all kinds of injustice at home since childhood and after marriage falls in the inferno due to their husband’s torture. Despite of all the hue and cry about women empowerment, women today are still toyed in men’s hand, some at their homes, some at their work place and some even in hospitals during their treatment.
Women are seen as sexual objects which can be use and ignored. All must have heard about the sexual harassment, rape case, molestation, etc in news papers and television. But no doubt due to the set up of certain NGO’S, Women’s organizations against this violence, women find solace up to some extent.
##ad_2##Women are neglected and left out since our forefather’s time. Let’s say for example during the freedom struggle of India no doubt many women contributed a lot in it but what we find in today’s history is all about men. Only few such as Rani Lakshmibai, even whose strength and courage wasn’t understood or appreciated in the very beginning by her husband Gangadhar Rao, head of the state of Janshi. But when we start counting male freedom fighters there are many that we would lose in our counting.
Let’s look at other side also, dowry issues where women are like sold out as if they don’t have any value in themselves, female feticide, where female child are neglected just because they are female as if they don’t deserved to live. In this modern India though women have adorned high offices including that of President, Prime Minister, Speaker of the Lok Sabha, there still exist women subordination in many parts of Indian. Even in a relationship why always women need to meet the compromise? When both husband and wife holds job why always women had to look after their children and household? Why still many women are not allowed to work despite of holding high degrees in many families? These are the questions which flickers in mind but ends with the answer-“men and women have the same RIGHT but the LEFT is different”.
