Haryana to start recruitment drive for government jobs

CHANDIGARH: After the massive victory in the Lok Sabha elections, in the next 100 days, the Haryana Government will initiate recruitment process for government jobs along with improving the level of education in schools and colleges, strengthening security system and improving health services besides focusing on permanent solutions to problems of every section of the society.

This was disclosed by the Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal while addressing a function in Jhajjar today.

The Chief Minister said that recruitment process will soon be started to fill 20,000 posts lying vacant in various departments. This work will be completed within next three months. In order to strengthen the security arrangements in the state, recruitment would be made to 5,000 posts in the Police Department and to fill the vacant posts of Group D, the candidates will be given preference, who were in waiting list of previous recruitment. He said that work will be done to increase the level of education in government educational institutions, besides improving the building structures and increasing the capacity of the teachers. Apart from ensuring children's future security, health services will also be expanded, he added.

Manohar Lal said that the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has got free treatment facility up to Rs. five lakh annually for the poor families. Listing the achievements of the Haryana Government in health services, he said that in 2014, 700 students of the state were enrolled in M.B.B.S, which has increased to 1450 in 2019. Within the next five years, such a system will be arranged that 2,000 students would get admission in the state every year. He also talked about working on the scheme of connecting the National Cancer Institute in village Badasa, district Jhajjar with New Delhi through Metro Rail Service and with the International Airport by road. The government has also prepared a permanent plan for solutions to the problems of every section of the society. He said that the state will get full benefit of the BJP Government in the center.

Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Om Prakash Dhankar said that in the Lok Sabha elections, the people of the state have shown confidence on the working of the BJP government under the leadership of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal. He said that it is the first government to give the status of Tehsil, Block and Sub-division to Badli in a single day. The previous government did not get the files of Sainik School in Matanhail, but the present government not only got the school approved, but also released the fund. Similarly, the AIIMS and National Cancer Institute have been established at Badhsa in record time.

Describing the KMP expressway as the road of development, Mr. Dhankar said that the previous government let construction of this road in middle which was got completed by the present government. Similarly, jobs on merit basis, educated panchayats, the right given to panchayats to execute works up to Rs 20 lakhs, about Rs 4,500 crore compensation to farmers, installation of ‘Gaurav Patts’ in each village to honor the martyrs and the highest price of bajra, mustard, sunflower and sugarcane was given to farmers by Mr. Manohar Lal.

Rohtak's newly elected Member of Parliament, Dr. Arvind Sharma said that with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister has worked for the welfare of all sections of the society including farmers, poor, young, soldiers and women. As a result, BJP got support from all sections of the society in the Lok Sabha elections.
