Haryana CM appoints retired IAS officer his Chief Principal Secretary

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Government has appointed a retired IAS officer, Mr. D.S. Dhesi as Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Haryana against a newly created post with immediate effect.

Dhesi retired as Chief Secretary on June 30 2019 after servincg the top office for over four eyars. Soon after hisretirement he was appointed chairman of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission.

This is first time that a retired IAS having personal loyality with the CM was appointed Chief Principal secretary. Punjab CM has also appointed former Chief Secretary Suresh Kumar as his Chief Principal Secretary. Haryana has picked up thread from Punjab. The appointment of Suresh Kumar is already challenged in the Punjab and Haryana High court.
