Navdeep Creates History as First Indian to Win 1st Runner-Up at Mrs Supranational 2025

“With Determination, Every Goal Is Achievable,” Says Navdeep Kaur

Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh-

Navdeep Kaur, who recently made India proud by securing the First Runner-Up position at the Mrs Supranational 2025 pageant held at Taj Vivanta, Goa, believes that strong willpower can turn every challenge into opportunity. Sharing her journey, she said that despite facing several hardships, she never allowed her passion to fade.

Born into an Army family, Navdeep grew up across different parts of India before moving to Punjab, where she currently serves as a Drug Control Officer. Her early life is marked with remarkable achievements—national awards in art and sketching, the prestigious Bala Chitr Ratan Award, and high distinction in National Olympiads and UNESCO examinations.

During school, she served as the captain of Scouts and Guides and won the top prize at a North-East zonal competition. Her artistic journey began at the age of six with dance, later becoming the youngest RJ at All India Radio. College brought her to Punjab for the first time, where learning Punjabi culture became a turning point in her life.

Balancing her career with creative pursuits, she continued exploring dance and fashion, worked with channels like Colors and Sony TV, and received four recognitions from the Punjab Government.

Her personal journey reflects immense resilience—navigating marital challenges, raising a young child alone, and recovering from a serious spine injury that confined her to bed for months. Her determination, she says, became her strength and ultimately led her to the Mrs Supranational stage.

Navdeep is also actively involved with NGOs like Niranjana Foundation and Sapt Sindhu, working for differently-abled children and widows. At the international pageant, her lotus-inspired national costume won her not just accolades but also the National Costume Award and the Mrs Global Ambassador title. She is the first Indian woman to achieve this historic milestone.
