Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) were rewarded with a prize purse of ₹20 crore after clinching their second consecutive Indian Premier League (IPL) title. RCB defeated Gujarat Titans by five wickets in the final to successfully defend their crown and lift the coveted trophy once again.

Despite falling short in the summit clash, Gujarat Titans enjoyed a strong season and received ₹12.5 crore as runners-up.

The individual awards ceremony was dominated by 15-year-old batting prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who emerged as the breakout star of the tournament. Representing Rajasthan, Suryavanshi scored a season-high 776 runs to win the Orange Cap and also claimed several top honours, including Most Valuable Player, Emerging Player of the Season and Super Striker of the Season.

His remarkable performances earned him a total of five awards, along with ₹40 lakh in prize money and a car.

Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans fast bowler Kagiso Rabada finished as the tournament’s leading wicket-taker with 29 wickets, securing the Purple Cap.

RCB’s title-winning campaign and Suryavanshi’s record-breaking season stood out as the biggest highlights of IPL 2026, bringing the curtain down on another memorable edition of the tournament.
