Continuing mission rozgar, the Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday announced that though the state has so far provided jobs to nearly 50,000 youth in the state but it will soon launch a massive employment drive in key departments like Health, Education and others to further provide government jobs to the youth.
Addressing the gathering while handing over appointment letters to the youth here today, the Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to provide ample of opportunities to the youth to excel in life and so far around 50,000 government jobs have been provided to them. He said that further new avenues will be opened for youth to ensure that they become an active partner in socio-economic growth of the state. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that along with providing new jobs to youth feasibility is also being explored to adjust the youth who have become overage while agitating for getting jobs.
The Chief Minister called upon youth that there is no short cut for success and the sole key of triumph was hard work.
