Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, widely known as “Mr Perfectionist,” is set to marry his girlfriend Gauri Spratt in a private ceremony on July 5. The actor, 61, will be tying the knot for the third time in an intimate registered wedding attended only by close family members and a few friends.
Speaking about the wedding, Aamir Khan told Deccan Chronicle that the ceremony will be extremely simple and held at home. He said it will be a registered marriage with only immediate family and a handful of close friends present, adding that both he and Gauri want to keep the event low-key and private.
The actor first introduced Gauri Spratt to the media on his 60th birthday last year. Since then, the couple has been seen together on multiple occasions, sparking public interest in their relationship.
Last month, reports of their wedding began circulating widely. Aamir later confirmed the news in an interview with Variety India, stating that he was currently in the United States and that the wedding would indeed take place on July 5.
He further shared that their relationship is serious and built on strong commitment. “In my heart, I already consider myself her husband,” he said, adding that formalizing the relationship through marriage is a natural next step in their journey together.
Aamir also mentioned that he will be taking a break from films for the wedding and related personal commitments.
