AAP leaders and workers will observe a day-long fast across Punjab tomorrow on April 7 against the arrest of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and the dictatorship of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
AAP MLA Dinesh Chaddha shared this information while addressing the media at the Chandigarh on Saturday. He said that this fast will be observed to save the democracy of India. Aam Aadmi Party workers and volunteers will observe a hunger strike near their district offices across Punjab
To make this fight stronger, a one-day fast will be observed tomorrow at Khatkar Kala, the land of revolution and birth place of Bhagat Singh who fought to drive out the British. All the party MLAs will participate in the one-day fast there. Revolutionary Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann will also observe the fast tomorrow.
He appealed to the people of Punjab to participate in large numbers in this fight to save democracy and give a befitting reply to the dictatorship of the BJP.
Dinesh Chadha, while criticizing the BJP government at the center, said that opposition leaders are being put in jail and targeted so that no one can campaign against the BJP in the elections. At the same time, all the leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party are being specially targeted because the Aam Aadmi Party is giving the toughest competition to the BJP.
He said that Arvind Kejriwal was put in jail only because he raises his voice against the BJP. BJP wants to break our spirits by sending AAP leaders to jail. Our Rajya Sabha MPs Sanjay Singh, Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain were put in jail and continuous efforts were made to break their spirits. Efforts are being made to scare us by putting Aam Aadmi Party leaders in jail one by one.
BJP is doing this because if BJP faces the biggest threat from anyone in the upcoming elections, it is from Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal. He appealed to the people and said that this is not just Arvind Kejriwal's fight. This fight is to save the country's democracy. So join it in large numbers. He said that Arvind Kejriwal has not come into politics to earn money. He was an IRS officer. If he wanted to earn money, he would have earned a lot there.

He said that Sanjay Singh's bail made it clear that this whole case is fake. ED has arrested him at the behest of the BJP to harass our leaders without any concrete evidence.
