CHANDIGARH: Lawn Tennis Association has organized the HPCL-CLTA-AITA Championship Series (CS-3) Tennis Tournament for Boy’s & Girl’s under-16 from 16th to 18th November, 2020.
CLTA Trainee top seed Aditya Chauhan won boys under-16 singles title. Aditya Chauhan played high quality tennis and maintained his momentum throughout the match. Aditya used his experience and varied shorts. Aditya won the 1st set easily 6-1. In the 2nd set he came back with high energetic game to closed the set and match 6-2 from Aarush Sharma. In the Girls under-16 singles Final top seed Harleen Kaur Dhanda defeated Radhika Vasudeva in straight sets 6-4, 6-1. Both the players played good level of tennis in 1st set. In the 2nd set Harleen Kaur Dhanda dominant with her aggressive ground strokes and closed the set and match easily 6-1.
Mr. Shalabh Raj Gupta, Chief Regional Manager, HPCL & State Level Coordinator for Oil Industry, Chandigarh; Mr. Nikhil Sood, Manager, Retail Engineering, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and Mr. Romen Singh, Chief Coach, CLTA distributed the prizes to the winners and runners-up of both events.
