Punjab Industries and Commerce Minister Aman Arora has invited UAE-based business groups to invest in Punjab, highlighting the state’s investor-friendly Industrial & Business Development Policy-2026 and single-window clearance system.

During his Dubai visit, Arora met several prominent business leaders, including representatives of Sharaf Group, Mount Meru Group, Al Dobowi Group, Apparel Group, LuLu Retail Holdings and GEMS Education. Discussions focused on sector-specific investments, B2B partnerships, technology collaboration and greater UAE participation in Punjab’s growth.
Arora said Punjab offers excellent connectivity, skilled manpower, a strong industrial base and access to a large domestic market. He highlighted investment opportunities in food processing, logistics, manufacturing, IT, education, skill development and renewable energy.

He also met India’s Ambassador to the UAE, Deepak Mittal, to discuss cooperation in skill development, agriculture and food processing.
“Our objective is not just to bring in investment, but to forge long-term partnerships that generate employment, strengthen industry and accelerate Punjab’s economic growth,” Arora said.
