CHANDIGARH: Animesh Gogoi of Assam will meet Adita Arora of Punjab n the third round boys U-17 singles in Qualification-A draw the YONEX Sunrise 1st Ashwani Gupta Memorial All India Sub Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament-2022 at Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex, Panchkula.
In the second round matches Animesh defeated Hursh Singh Thokchom of Manipur 15-11, 15-11 while Aditya Sharma accounted for Suryanshu Tripathi of Uttar Pradesh by 15-10, 15-13. Dileep Kumar Gulipalli of Andhra Pradesh overcame a stiff resistance from Pranav Krishnamurthi of Karnataka by 15-11 10-15, 15-12. He next faces Harshit Dahiya of Delhi who beat Abhinav Sahu of Madhya Pradesh 15-4, 15-6.
Rujul Wadate of Maharashtra also advanced to the nexr round after beating Sagar of Haryana 12-15 15-12 15-10.
