Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has extended a gesture of reconciliation towards BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, describing her as his sister and putting an end to their recent differences.
Speaking to the media, Baba Ramdev said he was sending sweets, gifts, and a Rakhi to Kangana Ranaut as a symbol of goodwill. He emphasized that disagreements should be resolved through dialogue and that there should be no hatred in the country.
“We are sending this gift and sweets to our sister Kangana Ranaut. There should be no hatred in the nation for any reason. Let all animosity end. Questions were being raised about whether there was a dispute between us, but such matters should be resolved through dialogue,” Ramdev said.
Kangana welcomed the gesture and shared a note on her Instagram Story. She wrote that festivals are meant to forgive past misunderstandings and move forward with love and respect.
“Festivals are a time to forgive and forget. My brother Baba Ramdev has rightly said that there should be dialogue, not disputes. On Raksha Bandhan, I gladly accept both his sweets and his affection as an elder brother. Thank you very much, and may God bless you with a long life,” Kangana wrote.
She further added that festivals like Raksha Bandhan provide an opportunity to leave behind old differences and strengthen relationships.
The story highlights a symbolic end to tensions between the two public figures, with both emphasizing harmony, forgiveness, and dialogue on the festive occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
