A day after unveiling the first-look poster of Batwara 1947, the makers have released the film’s official teaser under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions. The historical drama is scheduled to release in theatres on August 14.
The film features an ensemble cast including Sunny Deol, Shabana Azmi, Preity Zinta, Karan Deol, and Ali Fazal in pivotal roles.

The teaser, shared on Aamir Khan Productions’ Instagram account, offers a powerful glimpse into the human tragedy of the Partition of India. Narrated in the background by Aamir Khan, the voiceover says that while India achieved independence after 200 years of colonial rule and immense sacrifice, the joy was overshadowed by the country's partition, where humanity suffered in the name of religion.
The teaser attempts to recreate the heartbreaking scenes of 1947, highlighting the emotional and violent consequences of Partition, setting the tone for an intense historical drama.
