Bopanna-Matwe get doubles first round bye in Rolex Paris Masters

PARIS: Indian Rohan Bopanna, who is pairing with Matwe Middelkoop of Netherlands have been given first round bye in the doubles of the € 5,415,410 Rolex Paris Masters in France.

Top seeded Rajeev Ram of USA and Joe Slisbury of Great Britain also got first round bye,

SRIRAM AND JEEVAN LOSE IN SEMIS: Netherlands pair of Jesper de Jong and Max Houkes upset top seeds Indian duo of N. Sriram Balaji and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan 6-2 4-6 15-13 in the doubles semi-final of the $53,120 Lima Challenger in Peru.

The Indian pair earned $1080 and 30 ATP points.

ITALY: Purav Raja and Divij Sharan have been draw to meet second seed Jonny O'Mara of Great Britain and Philipp Oswald in the doubles first round match in the € 45,730 Trofeo Perrel-Flap in Bergamo (Italy).

CHARLOTTESVILLE (USA): Anirudh Chandrasekar and N Vijay Sundar Prashanth are pitted against top seeded American pair of William Blumberg and Jackson Withrow in the doubles first round match in the $53,120 Jonathan Fried Pro Challenger in Charlottesville (USA).

SYDNEY: Prajnesh Gunneswaran and Mukund Sasikumar of India will play in the $53,120 in the BSW Open, Sydney (Australia). In the singles first round Prajnesh will face Max Purcell of Australia while Mukund has been drawn to meet James Duckworth of Australia.

Prajnesh and Mukund are pitted against Ajeet Rai of Australia and Yuta Shimizu of Japan in the doubles first round encounter.

YOKOHAMA (JAPAN): Ramkumar Ramanathan of India will open his campain with a first round singles match against Christoper O'Connel of Australia in the $53,120 Yokohama Keio Challenger, Japan.

Ramkumar and Arjun Kadhe have been top seeded in the doubles. In their opening doubles the Indian pair will face Damir Dzumur if Bosnia-Herzegovina.and Nino Serdarusic of Croatia.
