Chandigarh Administration has set up a control room in view of the flash floods in Nepal. Residents have been asked to inform the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, UT Chandigarh, if any family member or acquaintance from Chandigarh is missing or untraced following the incident in Nepal.
The administration has issued 112 and 0172-2700025 as control room numbers. Information can also be shared via email at adc-chd@nic.in.
Mohan Singh, Office Superintendent, Deputy Commissioner’s Office, UT Chandigarh, has been designated as the contact person for the initiative.
The information received from citizens will be compiled and shared with the concerned authorities. The initiative aims to help trace Chandigarh residents who may be missing in Nepal and provide necessary assistance to affected families.
