Urges to embrace teachings of Guru Arjun Dev

CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today visited Gurudwara Sahib Shri Guru Singh Sabha at Cart Road Shimla to pay his obeisance on the occasion of Shahidi Diwas of fifth Sikh Guru Guru Arjun Dev.
He emphasized upon embracing the teachings of Guru Arjun Dev and follow his principles of truth, compassion and love for people, besides staunch belief on God and hardwork.
Shri Sukhu said that God is subtle and can be attained by Guru's words in hymns of Guruvani where all doubts are dispelled. He urged to follow the path a shown by Guru Arjun Dev for self realization and service to mankind.
In recognition of his visit, the Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee honored the Chief Minister with a siropa (robe of honor) and a sword.
MLAs Harish Janartha and Suresh Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap and other senior officers were also present during the ceremony.
