REITERATES COMMITMENT TO PROVIDE BASIC CIVIC AMENITIES IN EVERY TOWN OF STATE
Punjab Newsline, Abohar-In a major bonanza to the residents of the Abohar city, the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Thursday dedicated the Water Supply Scheme and Sewerage projects in the city to facilitate people.
The Chief Minister said that these projects are a significant milestone for the city's residents adding that it will give a major boost to infrastructure structural development of the city. He said that developed at a cost of Rs 119.16 crore, these projects aim to provide a reliable and sustainable supply of clean water to approximately 1.5 lakh residents of the city. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the automated Water Supply Scheme with capacity of 3.50 MGD, will supply canal water to the people.
The Chief Minister Mann emphasized the importance of ensuring a steady water supply during the commissioning of new water supply lines. He highlighted the commitment of his government to deliver quality services to the residents of Abohar.
