Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh:

Even though the then MP from Ludhiana, who left Congress and joined BJP just before the Lok Sabha elections after getting a ministerial post in the Union Ministry, lost the election, he still got a place in the Modi cabinet. After this, his big statement is coming out. During a conversation with the media, on one hand, he thanked the government for the big responsibility given by the BJP, while on the other hand, he also said something special about the Congress. Bittu said that while being in the Congress, he could not do anything because the party kept him as a puppet. Now the opportunity has come to play a leading role in doing something for Punjab.

Ravneet Bittu said that Punjab comes first for me. Now I will take along with me the state president of Congress Sunil Jakhar and other leaders. He said that I always wanted to talk about Punjab and I knew that this could only be done by staying in the BJP. The Congress has always kept me as a puppet. The BJP has done what it had to do for me, now it is my responsibility to do something for Punjab. He said that after the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections in Punjab, I and my family were disappointed, but BJP has given us happiness once again. Not only me but also the BJP workers of Ludhiana are happy. That is why I will always be thankful to the party, which has given me such a big happiness and responsibility together.
