The students of the Central University of Punjab actively participated in a series of competitive events organized as part of the university’s 16th Foundation Week Celebrations. These events included debate and declamation competitions, a Documentary Making Contest, and Rangoli and Best Out of Waste competitions. Organized under the patronage of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari, the competitions aimed to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and cultural expression among students.

On February 24, 2025, the university hosted debate and declamation competitions, providing a platform for students to express their views on contemporary issues. The debate on "Privatization in Higher Education" featured 18 participants engaging in a dynamic exchange of ideas, while the declamation on "Indian Knowledge System for Viksit Bharat" saw 11 speakers emphasizing India's intellectual heritage in nation- building.

Continuing the spirit of artistic and environmental consciousness, Rangoli and Best Out of Waste competitions were organized on February 25, 2025, under the theme "Viksit Bharat @2047." Around 16 students displayed their artistic prowess in the Rangoli Contes.
