A devastating fire at the Flourish Stay Hotel in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar has claimed 21 lives, including 17 foreign nationals. Officials have confirmed that 15 seriously injured victims are currently undergoing treatment in the ICU, while 10 police personnel were also injured during the rescue operation.

The deceased foreign nationals include citizens from Nigeria, Mozambique, Bangladesh, and Liberia, among other countries.

Deputy Chief Fire Officer A.K. Malik made a significant revelation, stating that the hotel did not have a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and that serious lapses in fire safety compliance were found at the premises.

Following the incident, Delhi Police have registered a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder against the hotel management. An FIR has been filed against the hotel owner, and multiple police teams have been deployed to trace and arrest him.

Authorities are continuing rescue, investigation, and identification efforts at the site as the probe into the cause of the fire continues.
