The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has restored access to its online passbook portal after a temporary shutdown for system updates, allowing millions of PF subscribers to once again view their account details, balance, and credited interest.

The official EPFO portal and the passbook service had remained unavailable for several days due to scheduled maintenance, preventing users from accessing their passbooks or filing online claims during the update period.

With the maintenance now complete, members can log in to the official EPFO Passbook portal using their Universal Account Number (UAN), password, and captcha to access their PF account information, including the latest balance and interest credited.

According to EPFO, the official portal had been temporarily suspended from June 26, 2026, to facilitate technical upgrades aimed at improving the platform's performance and services. The portal has now resumed normal operations, enabling subscribers to access all key online facilities again.
