Father accused of throwing six-year-old into Ravi River in Chamba

A serious incident has been reported from Chamba, where a six-year-old child is feared to have been thrown into the Ravi River by his father.

According to initial information, the matter came to light after local authorities received an alert about the incident. Acting swiftly, a police team led by Chamba ASP Dinesh Sharma was dispatched to the spot.

Police personnel, along with local residents, have launched a search operation along the banks of the Ravi River. Teams are combing nearby areas and checking possible locations where the child could have been swept away.
