A match between Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans will be played today at 7:30 PM at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh. This marks the first match of the season for Punjab Kings.
Both teams held practice sessions on Monday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The stadium is the home ground for Punjab Kings, and notably, since the franchise rebranded, they have not lost their opening match of the season.
The match will begin at 7:30 PM, with the toss scheduled for 7:00 PM. Gates for spectators will open at 3:30 PM. A total of 10 entry gates have been arranged, with Gate No. 1 reserved for physically disabled spectators.
Traffic Advisory Issued
Authorities have released a traffic advisory for fans attending the match:
For those coming via Dakshin Marg:
- Option 1: Turn left at the Mullanpur-Chandigarh Barrier, proceed towards Baddi-Kurali Road, take a left near Omaxe Ship Building, then join PR-7 (Airport Road), and turn left toward Stadium Road.
- Option 2: From the barrier, turn left onto Baddi-Kurali Road, continue straight, then turn left near Eco City-1 Township and reach Stadium Road via PR-6.
For spectators coming from PGI/Madhya Marg:
- Route 1: Head straight toward Baddi-Kurali Road, turn left onto PR-7 (Airport Road), then take a left toward Stadium Road.
- Route 2: Turn left at Mullanpur-Chandigarh Barrier toward Kurali, then turn left near Eco City-1 Township and reach via PR-6 Road.
For those coming from Airport Road/Kurali side:
- Travel via Baddi/Kurali Road onto PR-7, then turn right toward Stadium Road. Vehicles from Kurali can also enter by turning right toward Stadium Road.
Fans are advised to follow the designated routes to ensure smooth traffic flow on match day.
