Gold and silver prices witnessed a significant decline on June 23, providing some relief to buyers after recent highs. According to data released by the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), silver prices dropped by ₹10,318 per kilogram, while gold also recorded a sharp fall.

A kilogram of silver fell to ₹2.27 lakh, down from ₹2.37 lakh on June 22. Meanwhile, the price of 24-carat gold declined by ₹2,315 per 10 grams, settling at ₹1.45 lakh, compared to ₹1.47 lakh a day earlier.

The precious metals have seen substantial corrections throughout June. Gold prices have fallen by ₹10,541 per 10 grams this month, while silver has plunged by ₹35,767 per kilogram.
