Bharatiya Janata Party's newly appointed Haryana President, Dr. Archana Gupta, formally assumed office during a grand ceremony held at the BJP state headquarters, Panchkamal, in Panchkula on Wednesday.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini officially handed over the charge to Dr. Gupta and said he felt proud to be part of the occasion. He noted that earlier in the day, he had also attended the oath-taking ceremony of Punjab BJP's newly appointed state president, Kewal Singh Dhillon.

Congratulating Dr. Gupta on her new responsibility, Saini said the BJP had formed the government for a third consecutive term under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He expressed confidence that under Dr. Gupta’s leadership, the party would continue working towards the vision of a developed Haryana and a stronger BJP organization.

The Chief Minister also thanked Prime Minister Modi for his commitment to women’s empowerment, stating that Dr. Gupta’s appointment as Haryana BJP chief is a clear example of the party’s efforts to promote women in leadership roles. He said the slogan of making daughters self-reliant rather than dependent is being reflected through such decisions.

Saini further thanked the people of Haryana for their continued faith in Prime Minister Modi’s policies and the BJP’s governance agenda.
