Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday distributed benefits to beneficiaries under various state welfare schemes and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to transparency and good governance through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Addressing the media after the distribution program, the Chief Minister said the 10th installment of the Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana had been released. Under the scheme, Rs 209.62 crore was transferred to the bank accounts of 9.98 lakh women beneficiaries. He said that with this installment, the government has disbursed Rs 2,042.31 crore in 10 installments so far.
Saini also announced that Rs 1,124.94 crore had been credited under 15 social security pension schemes. The amount was transferred directly to the accounts of 34,93,978 beneficiaries through DBT.
Under the Dayalu Yojana, the state government provided Rs 234.77 crore as financial assistance to 6,224 families. The Chief Minister stated that the cumulative assistance released under the scheme has now reached Rs 3,152.48 crore, benefiting 83,536 families.
He further said that under the Har Ghar Har Grihini Yojana, the subsidy for the month of June was credited to the accounts of 4,93,434 women beneficiaries. A subsidy amount of Rs 19.17 crore was released on Monday, taking the total subsidy disbursed under the scheme to Rs 340.14 crore.
To promote the use of green manure, the government also transferred Rs 7 crore to the accounts of 13,237 farmers. The assistance has been provided for adopting dhaincha and moong as green manure crops over 70,000 acres during the Kharif 2026–27 season.
Chief Minister also announced that a state-level programme will be organised in Gurugram on August 14 to observe Partition Horrors Remembrance Day (Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas).
Saini said the extensive use of DBT mechanisms reflects the Haryana government’s focus on transparent governance, efficient delivery of welfare benefits and direct support to citizens without intermediaries.
