Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday transferred ₹1,129.05 crore directly into the bank accounts of 35.06 lakh eligible beneficiaries under various government schemes through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Addressing a press conference after the transfer, Saini said the 11th instalment of the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana had been released. Under the scheme, ₹212.16 crore was transferred to the accounts of 10.10 lakh eligible women and girls. With this instalment, a total of ₹2,254.47 crore has been disbursed under the scheme through 11 instalments.
Chief Minister said ₹153.45 crore had also been released to 20 beneficiaries for industries, while ₹19.68 crore was transferred to 5 lakh beneficiaries under the Har Ghar Grihini Yojana.
Besides, ₹49.89 crore was released under the Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana, while ₹168.13 crore was transferred to the accounts of 4,520 beneficiaries under the Dayalu Scheme.
