Highest package offered Rs 14 lakh per annum in placement drive

MOHALI: It is a moment of pride for the Rayat Bahra University,Rayat Bahra Hoshiarpur campus & Bahra University Shimla hills, during the latest placements the highest package offered has been Rs 14 lakh per annum even as 250 students have got placements in top notch companies during the last three months.

Disclosing this here today, Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University and Chairman of the group said that a total of 105 companies visited the Rayat Bahra group of institutes for selecting students for employment and the highest package offered has been Rs 14 lakh per annum.

He said that some of the important companies which had selected students included wipro, Infosys,TCS,UPl ,IBM ,Smart Data, Hitachi, Quark, Cloud Thing, Global Logic, Tommy Hilfier, ITC Limited, Tech Mahindra, Board Infinity, and Drish Infotech, and Grazitti. Bluebash, and India Mart.

Bahra said that the Rayat Bahra University being equipped with industry relevant skills, there has been an upswing in placements and students had been offered very attractive and lucrative pay packages.

He said that the RBU has started a number of new age courses in collaboration with top multinational companies to increase the employment potential of the students. The University has the highest placement record, and has ultra-modern facilities available for its students.

Bahra said that the University has ultra-modern facilities available for its students. The University offers courses in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering besides postgraduate courses in Management, Computers, Pharmacy and Nursing etc.

The university felicitated the students with certification of Appreciation from B Tech, MBA, Pharmacy, MCA, Nursing course. The university had invited the parents of the selected students as a goodwill gesture.
