Hisar Police has intensified inspections of school buses to ensure the safety of schoolchildren. On the directions of SP Siddhant Jain, the Traffic Police conducted a checking drive in the Uklana area and inspected 18 school buses.

Of these, nine buses were found not complying with prescribed safety standards. The Traffic Police issued challans to all nine buses for violating the rules.

The inspection, led by Traffic In-charge Inspector Chandrabhan, covered various child-safety measures, including CCTV cameras and other mandatory safety arrangements. Some buses were found lacking the required facilities as per the prescribed norms.

SP Siddhant Jain said negligence in matters related to the safety of schoolchildren would not be tolerated. He directed school authorities to ensure that all government-mandated safety equipment and standards are properly implemented on the ground, rather than merely being shown as compliant on paper.
