Two real brothers were killed in a tragic road accident near Bolni Chowk on Kotkasim Road in Rewari late on Saturday night after their motorcycle was allegedly hit by an unidentified vehicle.

The deceased have been identified as Nitin (21) and Prince (20), residents of Bhageri village in Khairthal district of Rajasthan. Both brothers were unmarried and worked in a private company.

According to police, the brothers had come to Sangwadi village in Rewari to visit their sister on the occasion of Teej. After completing the festival rituals, they left late at night on their motorcycle to return to their village.

When they reached Bolni Chowk on Kotkasim Road, an unidentified vehicle reportedly collided with their motorcycle. Preliminary investigation suggests that the vehicle may have been a trailer truck (trala). The impact was so severe that both brothers sustained critical injuries and died on the spot.

After receiving information about the accident, a team from Kasola police station reached the spot and took the bodies into custody. The bodies were shifted to the Civil Hospital mortuary, and after post-mortem examination on Sunday, they were handed over to the family members.

Kasola police have registered an FIR against the unidentified driver and launched a search operation. CCTV footage from nearby areas is being examined to identify the vehicle involved in the accident.

The deaths of the two young brothers have cast a pall of gloom over their family, while their sister’s home in Sangwadi is also mourning the tragic loss.
