AAP Condemns Attack on Arvind Kejriwal, Says Delhi's Law and Order Has Collapsed

Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh:

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab has strongly condemned the attack on the party’s national convener, Arvind Kejriwal, in Greater Kailash, Delhi. The party claimed that the BJP, fearing defeat in Delhi, has resorted to such desperate tactics. They alleged that Kejriwal was deliberately targeted because he consistently questioned the law and order situation in Delhi.

The party stated that Delhi’s law and order has completely collapsed, and an atmosphere of anarchy prevails. The attack on Arvind Kejriwal has exposed the failure of Home Minister Amit Shah.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann expressed concern over the incident. He called the attack on Arvind Kejriwal utterly shameful. Mann said, "Since Kejriwal began questioning the BJP about law and order and public safety in Delhi, they have become frustrated. This attack is a direct result of that frustration. It is disgraceful that this is the third attack on Arvind Kejriwal in just 35 days. Whenever BJP fails to fulfill its responsibilities, it resorts to violence and conflict."
