A shocking double murder case has come to light from Dhani Thakaran village in the Nangal Chaudhary area of Narnaul, Haryana, where a man is accused of killing his wife and teenage daughter following a domestic dispute on Monday evening.

According to preliminary information, Ashok Singh allegedly got into an argument with his 40-year-old wife, Rajbala Devi, over an undisclosed issue. The verbal altercation reportedly escalated into a heated confrontation. During the dispute, their 14-year-old daughter, Meenakshi, attempted to intervene and calm the situation.

Police suspect that in a fit of rage, Ashok Singh allegedly killed both his wife and daughter. Initial investigations suggest that the victims may have been strangled, although the exact cause of death will be confirmed only after the postmortem examination.

Family members reached the scene after learning about the incident and immediately informed the police. The bodies were taken into custody and sent to the Civil Hospital Narnaul mortuary for postmortem.

Police have detained the accused, Ashok Singh, who is reportedly engaged in farming. Authorities said that a detailed investigation is underway and all aspects of the case are being examined. The postmortem of both victims is expected to be conducted on Tuesday.
